J. A. Richardson attended Ohio State University for illustration. After working in the comics industry for fifteen years, he left it behind to write erotica. James lives with his family in California with his wife and child. He's a devoted family man that loves to spending time at home playing board games with his family.
James has been writing erotica since childhood when we stumbled a crossed his father's old Penthouse magazines. From that moment on, he's been writing erotica as a hobby. He writes all types of erotica from taboo stories to bondage and everything in between. It wasn't until early 2000 before the hobby was finally released online for free. After the first upload, it was all history. He received 10,000 reads in the first weekend. He spent the next 15 years trying to learn his craft and refine his style; all the while he kept publishing his work for free until the day he published his first story.
Greetings from Texas!
I have my MBA with Accounting concentration and that's my "day job" - I'm an Accounting Manager. I've been in that line of work in multiple industries for over twenty years now. I like it, and it pays the bills.
However, it's a far cry from my passion (and originally intended path), which was to be a writer who also perhaps taught Shakespeare at a university somewhere.
Fate, it seems, has a sense of humor.
But given that I'm not yet dead, I realize I still can chase that passion of mine in some form or fashion. So, I write. And read. And try my best to absorb as many lessons as I can from those who traveled this road to becoming a solid author before me.
When I am not crunching numbers, writing, or reading, I love to play hidden object and puzzle games - Anything with a good mystery story line!
James Richardson was born in Fort Worth in 1947 and spent most of his life in Texas.
Along the way he raised two daughters, served as a police officer in Irving back when the land between Dallas and Irving was still rolling pastures, had a popular radio show on Wise County's KBOC radio station as 'Country Boy Jim', and made the best tasting donuts on the planet.
It wasn't until his death in July 2019 that his daughters came across a set of papers, which proved beyond doubt the man could also write an entertaining story. The short stories and poems, written sometime around 1994, provide a unique insight into the great man we simply called "Dad."
