"Curse Awakened" is a tale a of a half-human, half-siren who is descended from King Arthur. Avany went into the human's world seeking information about his great-grandfather. He brings back a dragon egg. His blood and his actions awaken the dragon Mestiva, who is a cursed Guinevere. She comes after Avany in revenge.
In "Celestial Branch", Klana is seeking her sister in the Autumn Vale, a place of magick. Klana goes to the Celestial Branch, a wand shop, where she finds a tight-lipped shopkeeper who sends her on a quest for an ingredient to make wands.
Amelia Wickham brings us to the American Revolution in 1775. "In Freedom We're Born", Amelia comes of age but her father refuses to allow her to join the Revolution. Her mother's promise and her own sense of rightness have her sneaking out of the house to join Alexander Hamilton in the Raid against the Battery.
