Tia Felding was going to lose her dragon, Misty. Not only did the rare animal belong to the king, but Misty was sentenced to return to the man who hatched her: a man who has separated Tia from a dragon before. It takes all of Tia's strength to keep her head up inside the hostile atmosphere especially since her classmates think she has inherited a disease to attack the very animals they all love.
