Paraguay, hiver 1869. Pierre Duprat, photographe français, est venu
photographier les jeunes amérindiennes nues de la tribu guaraní.
Malgré lui, il va assister à l’une des batailles les plus sanglantes
de l’histoire de l’Amérique latine, connue sous le nom de bataille
d'Acosta Nù. Les hommes ayant été décimés par les précédents combats,
le maréchal paraguayen Francisco Solano López monte un contingent
d'enfants soldats guarani. 3000 enfants combattent contre 20000
soldats brésiliens, argentins et uruguayens. Le massacre durera sept
heures. Venu en Amérique du Sud pour faire des jeunes beautés
amérindiennes, un symbole d’érotisme colonial, il connait ses limites
face aux horreurs de la guerre. Il lui faut maintenant témoigner...
