Joseph Moingt, né en 1915 à Salbris (Loir-et-Cher), est jésuite, théologien spécialisé en christologie. Il a enseigné la théologie successivement à la Faculté jésuite de Lyon-Fourvière, à l'Institut Catholique de Paris et aux Facultés de Philosophie et de Théologie de la Compagnie de Jésus à Paris (Centre Sèvres). Il a dirigé la revue Recherches de Science religieuse de 1968 à 1997.
