Dieser Roman ist denen gewidmet, die in Krisengebieten, wie einst Biafra es war, sich bewährt hatten und unermüdlich sich für die Menschlichkeit einsetzten.
So auch der Hauptdarsteller dieses Romans, Captain Jack Lyons, der gefährliche Flüge für einen Waffenhändler, sowie für christliche Organisationen, auf Lockheed Constellations, DC-3, DC-4 und andere verschiedene Flugzeugtypen, durchführte und dabei vieles erlebte, was ihn schließlich menschlich veränderte und beeinflusste.
Diesen vergessenen Helden gebührt mein Respekt und mit diesem Roman erweise ich ihn.
