Esta es la historia de un poeta y fotógrafo que vive, así de simple, una historia trepidante. Inspirado en la vida de un famoso fotógrafo húngaro. Él, igual que este, es reprimido por la exaltación nacionalista de su país. Por el compromiso hacia las víctimas supervivientes del nazismo. En su huida vive retratando, a veces con su cámara otras con su propia pluma, la Francia Bohemia y pendiente de un grave conflicto mundial, el Portugal de Salazar, el Marruecos de espías y refugiados y la España de posguerra. Este es un relato ficticio inspirado en un gran fotógrafo, y también es una reivindicación de un hombre cuya biografía ha sido olvidada con injusticia.
