A Mission of Mercy is an adventure set in a cold land of forests, swamps, and a few settlements, featuring goblins, wargs, and a truly vile beast: a human. The objective is to find and rescue three captives, which turns out to be a desperate struggle where even a true champion would be tested. Cal is not one such champion; he has little training or experience in combat, instead having to rely on his wits, charm, and pure luck to push onward.
Should he use the opportunity to learn and grow into a better life, descend into the darkness of an evil magician's lair, fall in love with the one who bought him, or perhaps lie and deceive her for his gain? How about all of the above?
