Workbook on The Lost Apothecary: A Novel by Sarah Penner | Discussions Made Easy
Sarah Penner joined in her first online creative writing class shortly after hearing Elizabeth Gilbert's poignant talk in 2015. She hasn't looked back since.
Penner was born and reared in northeast Kansas, where she spent her childhood years in a little log home tucked away in the woods. She attended the University of Kansas and finished with a bachelor's degree in business administration in finance. She was employed full-time in finance, but in early 2021, after thirteen years in the corporate world, she decided to leave her day job and pursue her passion as a full-time writer. Her debut novel, The Lost Apothecary, is a New York Times bestseller. She is a member of The Historical Novel Society and the Women's Fiction Writers Association. She is also an ardent traveler; however, her heart remains firmly planted in the City of London. Thailand, Ireland, Germany, Belize, and Grand Cayman are her favorite vacation locations. Penner resides in Florida with her husband, Marc, and their small dachshund, Zoe.
