Certain foods can improve the body's adaptation to stress, while others make it worse. We are familiar with the word stress. Most of us think that stress is synonymous with worry (loss of employment, death of a loved one...). However, for the body, the word stress has a much broader meaning; is synonymous with change. Anything that causes a change in our life causes stress. It doesn't matter if it's a good or bad change, both are stressful. Even imagined changes are stressful: if you fear you won't have enough money to pay your rent, if you're worried about getting fired from your job, if you think you'll get a raise; all of that is stress.
