Despite their health issues, Austin and Yvette's marriage is strengthened by their continuing torments. What should be a restful weekend away at their Cornish retreat sees Yvette fall dangerously ill, and the decision is made to move to that part of the world permanently.
Events see their friends Zoe and Jack also move to the area with their growing family, and so it seems that the foursome are meant to be living their very different lives there together.
At the school football tournament, Austin plays when Tom, Zoe and Jack's eldest son, asks him to. A spectator at the match is owner of the local five-a-side Premiers team, Bob, who immediately wants to sign Austin up.
But can he feasibly do this? Austin has to juggle his responsibilities at home, plus his own health concerns, so would becoming Bob's star signing work out?
