A Federal Holiday on the calendar means nothing but dread in the city of Annapolis. Fear has been king ever since a black man in dreadlocks began snatching young girls on federal holidays. Mildred realizes that her new gifts can help; she discovers where the abductor has been hiding. While Mildred helps Barry through hard times, he teaches her about something that she thought was a thing of the past: racism.
