The widow of Lee Harvey Oswald is struggling to make ends meet. The FBI has set up a trust fund for her son Tommy, but not even Marina Oswald's family knows about the young boy. Then at 18 he receives an inheritance he doesn't understand, from a shell company set up by the FBI to keep the payout untraceable. Tommy opens a boutique in New Orleans that caters to his vampiric friends—until he decides he has to chase his James Dean dream in Hollywood. With his best friend Greg from acting class Tommy self-funds his vanity project, a movie that will live in infamy as one of the best worst movies ever made. Tommy's new fame sets him on the path to the discovery of his father's identity.
