Zala is sent to a strange world. In a time of legends and myths, full of magic and mystical beings. She must survive as she learns to be a dragon and learn her own powers. He asks for her help and after encountering the evil Scrogs she's had to battle; she does what she can. However, Zala must first fight the battle of her emotions, temper, and the dragon within. The battle for her very existence and that of all dragons is at stake as well. The promise she must keep, somehow.
