In a tea house, he found stillness and beauty as he watched goldfish swimming in a pond and spent time with Mr. Ming, who helped him realize that running away from his problems was not the solution. In a jazz club, Bill saw a woman from his dream playing the drums and was soon swept away to a dimly lit room with a green door, where an all-black jazz band played.
