Wendy is an author, advocate, wife, and mother who has had extensive personal experience dealing with constipation and gastrointestinal issues because her husband has Crohn’s and her youngest son has Celiac and Megacolon. She is not a doctor or a medical professional. She is a woman who was determined to help her family.
Wendy’s son was put on Miralax at age 4 for his chronic constipation. He suffered horrible side effects, including tics, anxiety, panic attacks, night terrors, mouth sores, slurred speech and delayed development. After seeing her son struggle with multiple health and neurological issues from Miralax, she decided that there had to be a better way than toxic medicines.
Under the care of an amazing Integrative Medicine doctor, she worked to find the root cause of her son’s health issues.
