She began writing in 2001 and since then has won or been placed in a number of writing competitions. Always willing to make the most of opportunities to find new situations to write about, in addition to cash prize, Patsy's winnings have included dinner in the House of Commons, publication of her novel Escape to the Country, a book written in Greek (not a language she can read), a Crabbit bag and tea with the mayor.
Patsy maintains a blog where she gives details of free to enter writing competitions, rambles on about writing, gardening, cakes, ships and her other many and varies interests. She'd love you to visit – http://patsy-collins.blogspot.co.uk/ where you'd be welcome to share your thoughts on these important matters.
Patsy lives near Portsmouth, just a short walk from the sea.
She shares her home with her husband and her head with her characters.
Natalie and Dean have lived together for eight years and been a couple longer than that. They have a nice home, are able to take a cruise most years and she knows he loves her just as much as she loves him. There's nothing she needs. No reason of her to feel jealous of Gladys who is celebrating her 50th wedding anniversary – but Natalie is jealous. Horribly, painfully jealous.
