Carolyn Ivy Stein loves writing stories about time travel, mystery, fantasy, and romance. Stephen Stein is a professor of military and naval history at the University of Memphis and teaches Strategy at the US Naval War College. He is the author of seven books on history as well numerous articles on maritime and military history, as well as the histories of technology and sexuality. His books include Torpedoes to Aviation: Washington Irving Chambers and Technological Innovation in the New Navy, 1876-1913 and The Sea in World History: Exploration, Travel, and Trade. His article “The Greely Relief Expedition and the New Navy” won the Rear Admiral Ernest M. Eller Prize, an annual award for the best article on naval history.
