Damian Nakare was born on March 21, 1988, in Rundu, Namibia, a town situated on the southern bank of the Okavango River, which separates Namibia from Angola. Tragically, in 2007, when Damian was nineteen, he lost his father, Max Nakare, a dedicated teacher. His mother, Clementina Nguwa, raised him in the wake of this loss.
In 1995, Damian faced a significant challenge when he had to undergo a difficult surgery on his left jaw at a hospital in Windhoek. The procedure was complex, and the medical team was apprehensive about his recovery. Reflecting on his survival, Damian has said, "I am here today because of God's grace."
Throughout his life, Damian has endured substantial suffering, including poverty, rejection, bullying, and persecution. This deep and personal suffering is known only to his mother and the Lord Jesus. Despite these challenges, Damian's faith and resilience have been unwavering.
Today, Damian is dedicated to spreading the message of the Lord Jesus Christ around the world through his writings and preaching. His mission is to share the good news and inspire others with his testimony of faith and perseverance.
Nelson Mandela said when he came out of prison, "As I walked out the door toward the gate that would lead to my freedom, I knew if I didn't leave my bitterness and hatred behind, I'd still be in prison." You've been severely harmed by someone, and you find it hard to forgive. I'm not sure how much suffering you've gone through. I'm not sure what it was, but as soon as you see that individual, you get resentful and hostile. I understand how it hurts and how it feels. Are you aware that the sole remedy is "forgiveness"? You cannot learn how to "forgive" unless you discover how you have wronged the Lord Jesus Christ, who has pardoned you.
This book tells the tale of Onesimus, a runaway slave who embezzled his master's funds before escaped to Rome. Onesimus converted to Christianity in Rome and was compelled to return to his master to ask for forgiveness.
