Thailand is one of the most popular countries to live in for retirees and expats from all around the world, and there are plenty of reasons why that is so. For pennies in the pound, you get low-cost living where your income or pension will stretch much further, a tropical climate, beautiful palm-fringed islands, friendly smiling people, inexpensive housing and affordable high-quality medical care.
