Wealthy businessman Carter Hernandez is found dead in his apartment in a state of shock, with no signs of forced entry. Detective Samuel Stewart is in charge of the case and discovers many suspicious circumstances during his investigation, such as Carter's business malpractice and messy office documents. Isabella Garcia had appeared near the crime scene. Afraid of retaliation, she concealed the fact that she had seen a suspicious man from Samuel and later confessed after struggling with her conscience. Samuel suspects that the case is related to art smuggling and goes to New York to cooperate with Detective Jack Morgan. They discover suspicious signs at art venues in New York, such as paintings of unknown style and origin and irregular auction practices. Meanwhile, Isabella is threatened in Paris, but ultimately firmly assists the police. As the investigation progresses, more clues emerge, including encounters at auctions with a suspected assistant of Victor and various pieces of information provided by Isabella. The police are gradually closing in on the truth, but the criminals are fiercely resisting, and Samuel and the others encounter many dangers. However, they never give up, and a showdown between good and evil finally ensues!
