Respected by soldiers and commanders, Achan, a young officer in the Jewish army, falls in love with Rahab, a pagan. In turn, Rahab and her brother conspire and carry out a cunning plan against Achan. The old Jewish warrior Caleb discovers his talent as an investigator and unravels the complex case. The key to solving the mystery is a missing golden pagan idol. The narrative is based on the Biblical story.
