Seeking the Way
|
In ancient lands where mountains rise,
And rivers sing 'neath moonlit skies,
A child of fate, with morning's glow,
Was born to bring the Dao's flow.
Laozi, wise beyond his years,
In humble village, calmed all fears.
With mother Mei, in dreams he'd see,
The Jade Emperor's prophecy.
Young Laozi spoke with water's grace,
Of Dao's true path, life's gentle pace.
He calmed the storms, he healed the sick,
With wisdom vast, and powers quick.
One day, immortal Li Er came,
With flowing robes and eyes aflame.
He taught the boy the Dao's deep lore,
Through forests dense and mountains' core.
They traveled far through towns and fields,
With horsehair whisk, Li Er wields.
They reached a temple, grand and high,
Where monks and abbots, bowed nearby.
The monks, in robes of saffron hue,
Told of a demon, fierce and true.
A wolfish fiend with toothy cudgel,
In shadows lurked, their lives to muddle.
Li Er and Laozi, calm and wise,
Faced the beast with steely eyes.
The battle fierce, with clouds and wind,
Through magic, demon's strength they pinned.
"Who are you?" the demon cried,
"Why seek to end my fearsome pride?"
Li Er replied, "I seek the Dao,
To bring you peace, to end this row."
Their weapons clashed, the winds did roar,
But soon the demon's might was o'er.
With Chen Hang's aid, the battle won,
The temple saved, the evil done.
With monks' deep thanks and heartfelt cheer,
The trio left, their path made clear.
To rivers wide and mountains steep,
In Dao's embrace, their spirits keep.
A ferocious wind did blow one day,
A monster rose, to block their way.
Qiongqi, fierce, with claws and fangs,
Declared the trees his realm's domain.
A battle raged with mighty force,
With magic strong, they stayed the course.
But minions seized young Laozi's form,
Chen Hang arrived amidst the storm.
The demon's might, with wind so fierce,
Blew heroes far, their strength to pierce.
In mountain's peak, they found their rest,
With Chen Hang's help, their journey blessed.
Chen Hang flew to heaven's gate,
To seek the Jade Emperor's fate.
The palace grand, with guards so bright,
He sought the aid to win the fight.
The Jade Emperor, wise and grand,
Chose soldiers fit to cleanse the land.
With weapons strong and hearts of gold,
They'd bring an end to evil's hold.
The monsters donned their armor dark,
With fiery breath and tiger's mark.
In skies they searched with sight so keen,
To catch the heroes, none unseen.
But Chen Hang's aid came swift and true,
With soldiers brave, the demons flew.
A battle grand, with fire and might,
The heroes won, restoring light.
In cavern deep, they cleansed the blight,
Destroying evil, bringing light.
With thanks and cheer, they bade farewell,
Their story told, with hearts that swell.
Thus ends the tale of wisdom's grace,
Of battles fought in every place.
Through Dao's pure path, they found their way,
In peace and light, they end their day.
