Chase Johnson was born from the union of an Irish father and Kiowa mother. Genetics gave him the best of both traits. He had his father's temper and his mother's native instincts. Schooled by his uncle, Gray Wolf, in the ways of his Indian heritage, Chase had no idea just how much he would come to rely on those lessons until the day his father and brother were killed by a neighboring rancher, John Brady.
Determined to exact his revenge for their murders, Chase spent months in the mountains, preparing to bring John Brady and his sons into a death that nature itself would deliver.
