Mr. Lay has a Master's degree from Arizona State University [Zoology/Physiology]. He also has a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Houston-Clear-Lake.
Inspired by the book Parapsychology by Rene Sudre, he sought to find the biological mechanisms that would power unusual human abilities.
Attending the Brain Electrophysiological Laboratory at the University of Oregon, USA, he saw that the fMRI and the High Density EEG would be tools to research "human magnets".
Everybody is familiar with magnets and electromagnets. But almost no one has heard of "human magnets" [Hm-s]. These people have an unusual ability: Without using their hands, they can hold solids to their body, that will adhere to their body, when they mentally will it.This requires a clean, dry skin and an intimate physical connection. Any material interposed between the object(s) to be influenced will negate this event. Even a thin film of talcum powder. The 53 page book herein presented have 47 pictures to show in detail: various human magnets, medical imaging of brains: since voluntary actions have to have corresponding brain areas to activate bodily actions. This ability can show up at any age. It can even be induced in ordinary people by hypnotism. The hypothesis presented to explain this phenomena is as follows: Analogously to electric eels (which can transmit energy in the electromagnetic spectrum), human magnets produce a new [as of yet un-researched type of energy] that seems to act like static electricity. Attract. One human magnet has shown that this energy can also be used to repel. The ability can be inherited, and seems to be almost exclusively a male characteristic. The book explores other types of energies, of biological origins [mostly unquantified]: chi energy mentioned by the Chinese (acupuncture related) and from India: associated with chakras. When it comes to unusual manifestations of energies, the book documents a haunted house [year 2024]. And, from historical record: a mineral sample from medieval times, that would attract gold, similarly to a magnet attracting iron. Ordinary magnets can repel, also. This mineral mentioned from a long time ago was repelled by red hot iron.
If scientist would follow the research path suggested by the existence of human magnets and the usage of noninvasive medical imaging, much could be gained.
