Tired. Aislinn deAvaric is tired of fighting and frustrated by forced contact with the mate who betrayed her. Hopes that she could somehow change his luck are answered in the worst way as hunters come after the pair, hoping for a payout from the selkie's valuable hide.
Wounded, with no one to trust but each other, and nowhere else to flee, the pair will have to make a stand and hope that together they'll be enough to survive.
