You can't give Earth people anything nice—they'll either break it or pee on it. Or will they? The Old Ones give some guy living in a travel trailer something unbelievable. Carey Denning could sit on his gift until the Sun bloats up into a red giant and burns the Earth to a crisp. Even though he's a bit of a smart-ass, he feels compelled to help the folks back home cuz he has whatchamacallit impulses—that's right, humanitarian impulses. Yuck! But the last thing the United States Government wants is a philanthropist from outer space—especially one bearing the gift of limitless free energy. Denning, however, has muscle in the form of the Big Guys. Trying to wrap his head around alien technology makes his caveman brain overheat, but a hot brainiac from Utrecht has the weirdness covered. If only she'd cover those calves and stop dangling that pump.
