Fantastical Tales: Romantic Escapades and Daring Deeds is a short story collection by Michaela Hayes. It has a total of four stories.
"Road To Piperbell" is a thrilling story of Paisley, a girl from Michigan heading off to Scotland with her mother. She searches for answers after her mother tells her about eerie sightings she had in her Scotland childhood home. She bumps into an older lady who claims to see the future and begs Paisley to go back home before she regrets ever stepping foot in Scotland.
In the second story "Scrambling For Chester" we meet Monica who freaks out when she spots Chester's cage unlocked while getting ready for a shift at work. After Monica tells her boss, he grants her an hour before he fires her. Her roommate rushes home after getting word of the news of Chester's status. Now they're on a search for him with only twenty minutes to spare.
"To The Moon And Back" is the love story of Jaylah and Marcus. Marcus' sister, Mia and Jaylah are best friends and roommates. Marcus is Jaylah's ex, but that's no more when Mia invites him over for their New Year's Eve party. Jaylah and Marcus' meeting is sooner rather than later when Jaylah discovers she's locked out of their apartment.
Last but not least, the story "Back In Time." "Back In Time" is a thrilling story about a boy named Jesse that's sent back in time. Jesse's mentor gives him a letter that he wrote long ago for his lost love. After being pushed into a time machine by his mentor, Jesse must now navigate the streets of windy Chicago in the early sixties to find her.
