The relentless fury of the hurricane had finally passed, but the aftermath left utter devastation in its wake. Bob Harris found himself trapped inside his modest home, the raging floodwaters rapidly rising with no chance of escape. His only companion in this dire situation was his beloved cat, Midnight, whose piercing golden eyes seemed to reflect the fear and uncertainty they both felt.
