Kiyoté, the bravest, hardiest and most skilled anthropomorphic coyote that ever lived (just ask him) has set off on a perilous mission to break the spell hiding away the lost memories of the elf Queen. Without him, the city of Smud must face a siege by the enemy's bugbear army. The fate of Smud now rests in the paws of Jin the Cat (anthropomorphic cat, part-time bounty hunter and local thug) and Puffer the wizard (A puffer fish in human form and practicing dancermancer.)
Together, they must rally the city's inhabitants and devise a plan to fend off the impending invasion. Jin, with her connections to Smud's underworld, and Puffer, with his membership to the League of Industrial Enchanters. Together they must find a strategy to hold off the enemy under the confident leadership of the Lord, Pamplamoose Pithwhithle.
As the bugbear army draws nearer, alliances are tested, and courage is pushed to its limits. The Mark of Jin is a tale of bravery, friendship, and the relentless pursuit of hope in the face of overwhelming darkness. Can Jin and Puffer unite the people of Smud and thwart the bugbear menace? The fate of the city hangs in the balance.
