A highly functional autistic man with a compulsive passion for Mixed Martial Arts, reminisces about the unexpected despair that slowly conquered what once was an existence full of joy and good will. It all starts to unravel when his mother gets diagnosed with terminal cancer. He vows to find a way to cure her, but his findings lead him to a daunting reality filled with unproven expensive treatments his family cannot afford. Matters only get more complicated from there, as all other aspects of his personal life unexpectedly start to collapse without exception.
As childhood nightmares about a humanoid cockroach return, he finds himself unable to sleep, and by means of an unintended incident he starts using his MMA skills to fight random strangers to cope with the stress. It is during one of these encounters that he meets an enigmatic man named Mac Rail. A more advanced MMA artist himself, Mac becomes his mentor and introduces him to the world of underground fighting. Unbeknownst to him, his partnership with Mac drives him into a reality filled with continued angering madness. Ultimately, as his fury drives him further away from everyone he loves, every preceding important event suddenly connects in the most pivotal moment, forcing him to face a truth he should have always known.
