The novel A Heart Without a beat is a novel whose events revolve around a young Afghan national who is imprisoned in a prison located in the north of the capital, Stockholm, where he is serving a four-year prison sentence for the crime he committed as a result of drug trafficking, the psychological state of Hamid, this young Afghan man, gradually worsened until he became depressed.
