On a rainy day in London, writer Liliana King and scholar Benjamin Taylor meet in an old bookshop and fall in love at first sight. They start dating frequently, visiting museums and parks in London together and going on a trip to Paris, where they confirm their love for each other. However, as time went on, their values began to diverge, and Liliana, who longed for freedom and independence, and Benjamin, who wanted a stable life, fell into a cold war. To ease the tension, they went on a trip to Tokyo, but the conflict remained. After returning to London, they fell into an even deeper cold war. At a literary event, they met again by chance and, after frank communication, decided to start over.
