The Bible declares in Matthew 5:9, "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God," and Isaiah 2:4: "They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore." Similarly, the Quran, in Surah Al-Anfal 8:61, reminds us, "And if they incline to peace, then incline to it [also] and rely upon Allah." The Bhagavad Gita speaks of the importance of unity and devotion in achieving harmony. Across all faiths, these divine principles call upon humanity to fulfill its long-awaited dream and shared destiny of peace.
The past century's scientific and social progress underscores the practicality of this vision. Psychological research shows that empathy and cooperation are fundamental to thriving communities, while sociology highlights the transformative power of trust and reconciliation. Technological advancements have connected over 8 billion people globally, enabling collaboration on an unprecedented scale. Financial models reveal that peace fosters economic growth and stability, far outweighing the devastating costs of wars. Politically, the success of international diplomacy and organizations like the United Nations illustrates the immense potential of collective action.
The urgency of this mission is echoed by inspiring voices like Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai, who said, "When the whole world is silent, even one voice becomes powerful." Similarly, laureate Nelson Mandela once reminded us, "It always seems impossible until it's done." These words resonate deeply as we stand at the threshold of a historic opportunity to achieve global peace.
This is our chance to break the cycle of suffering and build a harmonious world for future generations. History teaches us that progress begins with individuals who dare to act. As my book illustrates, the tools, knowledge, and divine guidance are already in our hands—what remains is our choice to embrace them. Together, we can fulfill God's vision for humanity and transform 2025 into the year of ultimate global peace.
