Princess Nnenna Ibeh (Pen name: Nnewrites) is a writer, filmmaker, production designer, and production manager, with a deep passion for arts and African spirituality. Her work focuses on screenplays, cultural storytelling, and historic narratives. As the creator of the storytelling blog Nnewrites.com, she aims to captivate short story lovers, African spirituality enthusiasts, and book lovers worldwide.
Nnenna's creative journey began with school drama groups and the Covenant University Theatre Group (CUTG). She earned a BSc. in International Relations from Covenant University in 2012, featured in three Africamagic original films (2014-2016), and won the prestigious Screenwriter of the Year Award at the 2022 GEMA Awards in Accra, Ghana.
Her notable works include serving as production designer for Blessed by Sunlight (directed by Sebastian Krolak), a film that won over 21 global awards. She also shared her expertise as a writing tutor at YFPA Kenya (2022-2023).
When she's not writing, Nnenna enjoys traveling, learning new languages, and cherishes her close bond with her father.
