Kay Hanifen was born on a Friday the 13th and once lived for three months in a haunted castle. So, obviously, she had to become a horror writer. Her work has appeared in over fifty anthologies and magazines. When she's not consuming pop culture with the voraciousness of a vampire at a 24-hour blood bank, you can usually find her with her black cats or at kayhanifenauthor.wordpress.com.

David Washburn lives in the Greater Cincinnati area (in Northern Kentucky for any locals who choose to argue about geography) where he lives with his two teen sons and the lady of the house. When David isn't fighting imposter syndrome as a writer he is probably working out, watching horror movies, baseball, or wrestling.
Suspense and Tension are David's playground and he has independently self-published multiple books in addition to having short stories published in several anthologies.
Greta T. Bates lives in sunny Fairhope, AL, where she draws the drapes and writes in the dark. She published Snapping, Fraying and Dangling in the Wind, Thoughts on Motherhood, Midlife and a Meaningful Existence in 2020. Currently, she is writing short stories that explore lost love, revenge, and facing one's fears, told through the lens of horror. A Mills College alumna, Greta, has been published in Eternal Haunted Summer-Pagan Songs and Tales, Summer Solstice 2022 issue, with Scars Publications at scars.tv, Down in the Dirt Magazine, Siren's Call, Trembling With Fear, The Mythos Minute Podcast, and in Horror Scope-A Zodiac Anthology, volumes 1 and 3 edited by H. Everend. Wounded is her first novella.
Zach Swasta is originally from Horseheads, NY and has been writing for many years in many different mediums. His biggest passion for writing is playwriting and screenwriting. Zach's first horror publication came in 2023, when his short story, "With Great Power", was included in the anthology, Horrorscope: Vol. II. He is also the playwright of two produced plays: "Solvarance: The Belligerent", and "Black Saturday". Zach is a passionate storyteller and especially loves spooky stories; so much so that he even works as a ghost tour guide in Boston. You can expect more stories from him, written and visual, in the future. Follow him on instagram! @zachzilla26
No rest ye frightened gentlemen
Full of horror and dismay…
When the St. Wenceslas Episcopal Church choir bus gets trapped in a snowdrift on the way to a Christmas Eve competition, the eleven members find their way to an inn run by the mysterious Innkeeper. Though disappointed that they won't get to the competition, they decide to make the best of it by opening their Secret Santa gifts.
But the gifts they open are not the original presents they bought for each other. Every one links back to a dark secret in their past, one that they are compelled to share: stories of Christmas monsters, cursed objects, and vengeful spirits. Featuring stories by David Washburn, Nick Aucoin, Julia C. Lewis, Nikki Kossaris, Zach Swasta, Loki Dewitt, Greta T. Bates, M. Rook Grimsley and a wraparound and story by Kay Hanifen, these travelers will tell their tales Till the Yule Log Burns Out.
