After being hurt on the job, Grady Applewood need surgery. All his fears were laid to rest once he came out on the other side almost fully healed. His first day of physical therapy ruined not only his recent surgery, but also set his healing back by months. He went under the knife again, and went home to heal for the second time. He started to walk out of his therapy session, but a sexy voice stopped him.
Tymberly Dalton put her life back together one step at a time after losing her husband. She was able to go back to school to finish her degree, and decided to become a physical therapist. She was given Grady's case because of what he encountered previously, she vowed to be the best she could, and to make sure he healed properly.
Grady blew off an appointment with no warning, and Tymberly hunted him down to yell at him about the importance of taking care of himself. She stormed into his veterinarian clinic to utter chaos. Being the strong, resilient person she is, she immediately took control, and ended up bringing not only Grady, but several animals home with her. Neither one realized they'd settled into a life together.
An enemy from Grady's past wanted to hurt Grady, so he went after Tymberly. Grady had to rely on his friends to rescue the love of his life. Will they arrive in time to save her? Will Tymberly forgive Grady for not being there when she needed him the most?
