English teacher, sales manager, pastor, and now a published author--Bruce Leiter was also an outside editor and a basketball coach.
Bruce is a widower who has three adult children, four adult grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
He was born and christened a Methodist in St. Louis, Missouri; grew up in northeastern Illinois attending and joining a theologically-liberal church; became a Chrisian in a Baptist church; attended a cult for a while; graduated from Calvin College with a B.A. in English after joining the Christian Reformed Church and rejecting God's earlier call to be a pastor.
He was an English teacher with a Master of Arts Degree in English for eight years, a sales manager for three years, and a pastor with a Master of Divinity Degree in seven churches for twenty-seven years in seven churches.
Then, he retired from full-time ministry, when God gave him a fourth career, writing books with a spiritual flavor. This historical novel is his fourteenth published book.
His website is growingtoknowgod.com.
