The story follows Evelyn, a youthful history specialist, who uncovers old texts uncovering the witches' actual inheritance. As she dives further into the past, she coincidentally stirs one of these long-neglected witches—Selene, a wrathful soul limited by the scourges of the past. As Selene tries to annihilate the city that cast her to the side, Evelyn finds the well-established aggravation and disloyalty that energizes the witch's fury.
To reestablish harmony, Evelyn should explore a world loaded up with failed-to-remember insider facts, old customs, and strong powers that take steps to destroy utopia. With the assistance of the excess witches, she should reveal the reality behind their exile and persuade Selene to trust mankind once more before the enchantment of the witches consumes everything.
The story investigates subjects of retaliation, selling out, and the quest for recovery as Evelyn attempts to beat the clock to forestall the arrival of a basic tempest that could obliterate Utopia—and with it, the fragile harmony among sorcery and humanity. En route, she finds that the past is rarely genuinely gone and that the decisions of the past will shape the fate of all.
