Jack Webb was born in South Carolina, then raised mostly on U.S. Air Force bases, in Europe and the southwestern U.S. After graduating from college, he became involved in the motion picture industry and eventually became a director of photography. While working in film production, Jack honed his addictions to a fine edge. Now, with many years of sobriety under his belt, he has taken to writing short stories. These stories are based on real-life experiences, tales he has heard told and his own vivid imagination. This is his first novella.
Chris, a young alcoholic, is not interested in his family's weird mortuary business. He just wants to be a comedian and make people laugh.
The economy is tough and his drug habit is getting bad. It is hard to make a move under such sorry conditions. Then there's Zoie. She is as hot as they come, with plans of her own. This is a dark, fast moving, romantic comedy with a strange spiritual twist. Like the story says, "I don't think Jesus did it this way."
