But when an assassin entangles Ameara in his order's machinations, even the sky's haven will not be enough to protect her crew, for Ameara fears he is the herald of a bloody reckoning.
When the resistance and the Ora clash prematurely, all Jaleya loves is threatened, and Ameara discovers the assassin's true purpose may be to defect from his order, a crime punishable by death. To save what they hold dear, Jaleya will have to set her vengeance aside, and Ameara must outwit trained killers and evade the fallout.
