I was born in Cincinnati and grew up in the American Mid-West. I graduated from the University of Notre Dame and received a Masters in Education from the University of Cincinnati.
I became a teacher and found a job teaching English and Film and Television at Trinity Bay State High School in Cairns, Australia.
As a teacher I wrote many One Act Plays that students enjoyed performing in. I became the Rugby coach at the school and began writing novels that my students could read, relate to and understand.
I decided to publish the novels under the name of Teen Friendly Books. At present I have 24 written and 15 published.
My plan is to write many more books for teens to read and enjoy.
Three generations of women struggle to find a sense of peace and happiness in their lives and with their families.
Carol was forced to leave home when she was eighteen. She was driven out by a heartless, cruel and unsympathetic mother.
Her daughter, Michelle, had to leave home at the age of eighteen as personal tragedy wrecked her life.
Now Carol's grand daughter, Martha, is having issues at home. Will she carry on the sad tradition of leaving home at an early age?
Can the members of this family forget about the tragedies of the past and create positive memories in the future?
Can the three of them come together and find a place to call home?
Written for all ages.
A book that follows one family's difficult journey from the 1960's to the present.
