I was born in Cincinnati and grew up in the American Mid-West. I graduated from the University of Notre Dame and received a Masters in Education from the University of Cincinnati.
I became a teacher and found a job teaching English and Film and Television at Trinity Bay State High School in Cairns, Australia.
As a teacher I wrote many One Act Plays that students enjoyed performing in. I became the Rugby coach at the school and began writing novels that my students could read, relate to and understand.
I decided to publish the novels under the name of Teen Friendly Books. At present I have 24 written and 15 published.
My plan is to write many more books for teens to read and enjoy.
Surviving Romeos and Juliets is a very funny play to watch and to perform.
Jakob's mother is putting pressure on him, too much pressure. He needs to finish his Shakespeare assignment in record time to get her off of his back. He turns to the internet for help, but that help comes at a cost, a loud and somewhat confusing cost.
In the tradition of Shakespeare's comedies, there is chaos on stage as characters dress up in clothes that change their gender.
The play has seven characters and only one set, making it easy to produce on a small stage.
This play is recommended for high school drama productions because it allows teenagers, who love to perform, the opportunity to entertain an audience and make them laugh out loud a lot.
