Being in the saddle for long hours comes naturally for John J. Law.
Raised on a modern-day ranch in Wyoming, John has had many experiences. Some good, some bad. He weaves many of these experiences into the stories he writes.
A life long bachelor, he says he has to use his imagination for that part.
He was a writer of dime novels, looking for another legend to spin. He made his way by coach to a small, quiet and dusty town, where he'd heard from reliable sources that the notorious bounty hunter called No-Face had assisted the local sheriff with a bounty for sheep thieves. Armed with a list of names of people who were said to have had dealings with No-Face, Joe hoped to gather information about the red bandana wearing man. He got more than he bargained for.
No-Face was said to wear a red bandana on the lower half of his face to cover scars obtained by a gunshot wound during the Civil War, and was permanently disfigured. Some said justice, not money, was his true motive for accepting any kind of bounty. One thing Joe Benjamin learned was that No-Face was many things to many people. To some he was death, to others, a bringer of justice and hope. Whatever he really was, one thing was certain. He was definitely a legend.
