Jed approached the barkeep, a tired-looking middle-aged man.
"I'm looking for Rojo del Caballero and Armando Roxas. I heard they might be here in the saloon." Jed said.
He bent over close to the barkeep so that his badge was clear and easy to see.
"Hey! Not so loud! You want to start some trouble here or something?" the barkeep said.
"Hopefully not. I'm just upholding the law. Maybe them gents will come peaceful-like. Heard they were here somewhere, and I need to take them in."
"I haven't seen you here before. You're one of Chester's new lawmen?" the barkeep said.
The barkeep was careful to keep his voice low, almost to a whisper. It was clear that the barkeep was tense.
"First day on the job." Jed said.
